And one of the great benefits of CGTA membership is the range of cost-saving support programs for business products and services available to CGTA members, exclusively. CGTA Hospitality Bureau
The CGTA Hospitality Bureau offers members attending the Toronto, Alberta and Montreal gift shows reduced prices on travel and accommodations, as well as discounts on local dining, entertainment and social activities.
Business Products And Supplies
The CGTA has negotiated group discounts for members with the commercial division of Grand & Toy. These discounts offer very significant savings on business supplies, as well as stock office furniture, to ensure they will always receive the best possible price on all merchandise.

On behalf of its members, the association has also struck a deal with NEBS, Canada's leading supplier of cheques to small business, for such things as bills of lading, packing lists, labels and tags, business cards and letterhead - all with a no-nonsense 90-day guarantee.

Credit Card Processing
CGTA members enjoy preferred service rates on VISA, MasterCard and Interac processing services through an arrangement with Chase Paymentech. Savings on this critical business service can easily amount to more than the cost of a CGTA membership, and include: consolidated billing, direct deposit at no extra charge; elimination of delays in clearing funds and NSF fees; reduced wait times for U.S. Dollar payments - a few days, instead of a few weeks!
Property, Liability and Shipping Insurance
CGTA members can access very affordable rates on business insurance, as well as import/export ocean marine insurance to protect goods in transit. Through Brokerlink the program is underwritten with special attention to the specific needs of the gift and tableware industry, special insurance products for such things as trade show booth and inventory coverage and business interruption insurance are also available.

Group Benefits Program
Employee benefits programs, an important component of attracting and retaining good employees, have become complex to plan. For twelve years, the CGTA has worked with Morneau Shepell to develop a cost efficient group benefits program tailored to the needs of members. Benefit component options cover many types of insurance, from group life, health and dental, to long-term disability.

Using CGTA's preferred provider, members save hundreds of dollars on voice and data solutions that grow with their business. Substantial savings are available on the costs of regular and cellular long distance, travel cards, toll-free calling, web hosting and dial up or high speed Internet access.

Domestic Shipping
Domestic shipping resources are available to all CGTA members and include: exclusive, negotiated discounts on standard and express package delivery (Canpar, Loomis Express and FedEx) and coast-to-coast LTL and truckload rates (Clarke Transport). International Shipping & Customs Brokerage
Preferred pricing on all international shipping, cargo tracking and customs clearance is available to all CGTA members. Members are eligible for savings of 40% or more on select FedEx services and 65% off of DHL Express services.

Additionally, the Delmar Group offers members exclusive programs to reduce costs on multiple carrier offerings, as well as savings on FOB programs and crosstrade shipping activities.
