SalesPulse 4^th Quarter 2012

The following results are key findings of a Retail News and Canadian Gift & Tableware Association survey of giftware retailers concerning retail conditions during the fourth quarter of 2012 and their sales outlook for the first quarter of 2013. Two separate surveys were conducted: one was directed to retailers located in all provinces except Quebec and one sought responses from retailers in Quebec only.

The current survey was conducted January 2 - 9, 2013. Retail News SalesPulse is a quarterly survey that reports on retail conditions related to sales, margins, inventories and the outlook for the next quarter.
