REPORT REVEALS HIGH CONSUMER INTEREST IN TARGET CANADA
The 2012 Major Market Retail Report (MMRR) from KubasPrimedia reveals that, “61% of Canadian consumers are 'very' or 'somewhat' interested in shopping at Target once their stores open here in March 2014. This is significantly higher than the comparable 50% pre-launch interest level for Walmart recorded in 1994.” The MMRR report also showed that a considerable number of Canadians surveyed – 43% - have shopped at a U.S. Target store – 17% have done so in the last year.
